As a Registered Clinical Counsellor I specialize in working with people who are wanting to change course in their life. Whether it’s supporting couples through times of transition to working with people who woke up and realized that the life they are living is inauthentic. I help people to understand why they are in their current situation and the things that have to change to improve it. Using a strength based, person-centred approach, I tailor my treatments to my client’s needs. I use a trauma informed, attachment based lens while integrating in somatic mindfulness, narrative work, motivational interviewing and neuroplasticity. When working with couples and families I consider the complex nature of relationships with influence from Gottman, Emotion Focused, and Humanistic Therapies. Integrating these therapies allows my clients to optimize their healing and move forward with the tools they need to succeed.

Assisted by 8+ years of post-secondary education, Jess has a deep passion for supporting clients throughout life’s nuances. Jess works with individuals and couples, adults and teens, providing warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental support that emphasizes self-reflection and self-discovery. Areas of focus in Jess’ practice include maternal mental health: the life-changing transition into motherhood, encompassing trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond. She also provides compassionate support for those grieving pregnancy loss.
